Hello, I’m Ava Kahn, the proud owner of WYLD PAWS. My love for nature and animals was cultivated from my early years growing up in Vista California, where I was raised by two pseudo-hippie parents surrounded by a menagerie of animals on a 2-acre plot of land where we were told to “go play” outside until the sun was setting. My childhood was filled with adventure, but it was also very unpredictable and often the safest place for me to be out of the house and in nature was with our animals. I’ve always felt a special bond with animals and with that I decided to quit my well-paying job and go after something I truly loved to do.

Today, I am dedicated to my 90lb husky Jango, my 5 koi fish, and our 2 rabbits. My late best dog friend Frank who I had lived with for 17 years, taught me the meaning of unconditional love and gave me strength in the toughest of times. His memory continues to inspire me every day. I love you, Frank!
